Dalgety Bay Explorer Scout Unit are offering the opportunity to take a group of Explorer Scouts from throughout Rosyth District to the Auchengillan Jamboree near Glasgow between Friday 27th July and Friday 3rd August 2013.
AJ2013 is an international camp for members of the Scout and Guide movements and is hosted by Clyde Region at their Auchengillan Campsite near Glasgow.
Aiming to build on the success of AJ03 and AJ09 by bringing young people together from all over the world for a week of fun, friendship and outdoor activities.
Why 2013? The summer of 2013 will mark the end of the 10th anniversary of Explorer Scouting in Rosyth District and what better way to celebrate that occasion than spending a week at the jamboree.
There will be more than 50 different activities on offer during AJ2013, including the following:
Hill Walking, Sailing, Canoeing, Kayaking, Rock Climbing, Team Sports, Trips, Hover Crafting, Swimming, Extreme Survival, Mountain Bivouacking and Crafts.

To anyone who has not tried Scouting before, I would say come on up and have a go! I think that most people do not really know that Scouting is about activities, friendship and meeting people from other countries. I have been in the Movement since I was a Beaver and I still love it!
